Mayweather Jr. and Marquez, face the media tomorrow

Six-time World Champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and five-time World Champion Juan Manuel Marquez will face the journalist’s tomorrow (Philippines time) for their future fight this coming September 19 at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Include Oscar de la Hoya, president of Golden Boy Promotions, Richard Schaefer, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions and Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions.

Mayweather Jr. -Marquez fight titled called as “Number One / Numero Uno” was first set this coming July 18 but move this September 19 because of injury incurred by Floyd while in his training.

500 Billboards of Manny Pacquiao seen in U.S.

For the first time, pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao and NBA MVP Kobe Bryant seen each other in Los Angeles to make their pictorial for indorsing shoes.

The report given by Team Pacquiao, the conversation of two famous sports personalities is good. Approximately 500 billboards picture of Pacquiao are to be seen in Nike stores in whole America next few days.

Aside from Manny Pacquaio and Kobe Bryant, also include in the photo shoot tennis diva Maria Sharapova.

Manny Pacquiao expect to go back in the Philippines today to continue making movies and other showbiz commitments.

Hatton back in boxing as “boxing promoter”

Former junior welterweight champion Ricky Hatton ready to go back in boxing after bitter overpowered to the hands of pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao. Hatton confirmed these not for being a boxer but as a boxing promoter.

This Saturday, do the boxing events that promote in his promotional company. Manchester champion not get rid of in boxing retirement, he is opened to fight again.

“I want to stay in boxing and give something back to the sport which gave me so much.Hatton went on to add that he is not planning on going back to school to learn a new trade ….. I have not made my mind up yet, other than to say I need to recharge my batteries after 48 fights, “Hatton said.

There is news that it is possible that Amir Khan is likely next fight of Hatton and does it in England.

Donaire, make fans day on Saturday in U.S.

Media Day of Nonito Donaire are open to all fans on coming Saturday in San Carlos, California.

Donaire called “Filipino Flash” and he will fight Rafael “El Torito” Concepcion of Panama on August 15 at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas.

Donaire former world champion in 112 pounds and he will go up 115 pounds division for attempting to get the WBA interim super flyweight title from Concepcion.

Donaire known in his clean records which still has not been losing in four world title fights and all fight are in impressing knock-out.

For now, Donaire plans to train at Undisputed Boxing Gym in Northern California, just near the Top Rank Gym.

Title defense of Donie Nietes, postponed

Title defense of WBO minimum weight champion Donnie “Ahas” Nietes against Interim champion Manuel “Chango” Vargas was postponed. This is confirmed by international matchmaker Samson Lewkowitcz that the title defense of Nietes will be on August 1.

First, Nietes revealed that he is ready to fight the Mexican boxer Vargas and in fact he also watched the five fight of Vargas and studied the technique. Additionally, he was not afraid to Mexican Warrior but on the outbreak of A (H1N1).

Ron Artest, official member of the Los Angeles Lakers

Ron Artest are now officially member of Los Angeles Lakers Team . This is announced by the head of LA Lakers but they don’t released how much will be the salary of Artest. The released report of Los Angeles Times, Ron Artest signed a contract with $18 million.

The 6-foot-7 forward Ron Artest was last played in Houston Rockets wherein it has averaged 17.1 points per game, 5.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

Artest previously defensive player of the year is first played to Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets.

French tennis player, found dead in an apartment in Paris

French tennis player Mathieu Montcourt found died. This revealed by the French Tennis Federation of what happen to the world’s number 119.

Policeman doesn’t provide an actual cause of death of Montcourt but they will provide after the body is autopsy.

“It is with great sadness that the French tennis federation has learned of the sudden death of Mathieu Montcourt. Mathieu was an enthusiastic young man, passionate, very endearing, and extremely appreciated for his kindness and politeness,” that part of the message released by French tennis federation.

Four-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal is very sad for what happen to Montcourt.

“This morning I woke up with one of the worst news anyone can receive. I heard about the death of our friend Mathieu Montcourt. I am still under shock for this. I cannot believe it, “Nadal said.

Nadal and Montcourt is strictly rival players when they still only a junior circuit.

Montcourt died at age 24.

In world of boxing, many people talk about the former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will be back before the end of the year. According to reports, the comeback fight of Mike Tyson is on December 20 against Serbian Boxer Nenad Stankovic.

The brought out message by Serbian media, “my sponsor has given me a perfect gift, the fight with Tyson on my birthday,” statement of Stankovic.

Tyson became controversy after he bites the ears of Evander Holyfield.

Fight proposal of Arum favor to Pacquiao – Salud

Rex “Wakee” Salud now confirms that the fight proposal of Top Rank Promotion President Bob Arum is favored to junior welterweight Manny Pacquiao.

Salud said that based on the initial content of the proposal by Arum, the fight contained 145 pounds catch weight and also 65-35 parted to each other and the WBO welterweight belt of Miguel Cotto will weigh up on November 15 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
More by Salud, at stake the guaranteed prize of pound-for-pound king reach $ 12 million.

Roger Federer, Wimbledon 2009 champion

Roger Federer got the 15th grand Slam title at Wimbledon 2009 after beaten Andy Roddick in men singles final score of 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-16 and 16-14 in four hours and 35 minutes game.

such won by Federer, its surpass the record of Pete Sampras, 14 Grand Slam wins and recovered its title after defeated to Rafael Nadal last year.

The 27-years Roger Federer will return to the top of the world rankings higher than Rafael Nadal.

Roger Federer got the first French Open title last month and now has earned the Wimbledon title six times, U.S. Open five times, Australian Open three times and Roland Garros for one victory.

It was not easy to Roger Federer to won the match-up because just two points lead was his only advantage over Andy Roddick to the second set of their game and there was still a tie break.
